In November 2013 the Kansas Ki Society invited Curtis Sensei to teach the Tsubaki Sensei memorial Seminar. Tsubaki Sensei was the founder of the Kansas dojo and a professor of Japanese drama at Kansas University (in Lawrence, KS). Tsubaki passed away on December 16, 2009. Curtis Sensei a long time friend is always honored to teach at this seminar. Students from all over the midwest came together to celebrate their teachers life and train in Ki and Aikido principles.
