On November 19 – 21 the Kansas Ki Society invited Curtis Sensei to teach the 1st annual Tsubaki Sensei memorial Seminar. Tsubaki Sensei was the founder of the Kansas dojo and a professor of Japanese drama at Kansas University (in Lawrence, KS). Tsubaki passed away last year on December 16, 2009. Curtis Sensei a long time friend was honored to teach this seminar. Students from all over the midwest came together to celebrate their teachers life and train in Ki and Aikido principles.
